Webinar on “Launch of the EU EBA Business Guide for Lao PDR”
Are you interested in exporting your products to EU 🇪🇺 ?
Lao PDR currently benefits from duty-free, quota-free access for all products (except arms and ammunition) to the EU market under the EU’s EBA scheme, applicable to least developed countries (LDCs).
The EU EBA Business Guide for Lao PDR has been developed to support Lao businesses to better understand and make use of the opportunities available under the EU market. The Guide maps out the technical and regulatory requirements that must be met by Lao businesses to export to the EU and benefit from duty-free access under the EBA scheme.
In addition, sector-specific guides have been developed to provide targeted material for businesses engaged in exports of agricultural products, processed food, textiles and garments, footwear and processed wood.
These guides were developed under the scope of the ARISE Plus Lao PDR project, funded by the European Union.
We are pleased to inform you that the International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, is launching the Business Guide on the EU Everything But Arms (EBA) scheme for Lao PDR on 05 November 2021, 2 – 4pm (VTE Time).
