ASEAN embarked on a bold and long-term strategy to improve the region’s physical, institutional and people-to-people linkages through the adoption of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity in October 2010. The Master Plan contained 19 strategies and 84 key actions to enhance ASEAN Connectivity with 15 prioritized projects identified as having high impact on the Member States.
The ASEAN Connectivity project information sheets provide details of the 15 prioritized projects. This publication is aimed not only at mobilizing required financial resources and technical assistances to implement these prioritized projects, but also to provide stakeholders with more information on the current implementation progress and the remaining actions required to achieve ASEAN Connectivity by the agreed timeline.
