Delivery Support Specialist
Contract type: Open contract
Location: Vientiane Capital, Laos
The position is to be work closely with Lead – Service Delivery Support to drive and implement strategies for the improvements of services delivery through automation projects and service management. The position also acts as the local representation for head office IT initiatives. This role requires to work closely with service delivery team and MMG IT to leverage internal and external resources available to both IT and Business Services.
Responsibilities:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives through developing robot processing automations, utilizing artificial intelligent tools, improvise report user interface to improvise the efficiency and effectives of Business Services
- Solution design and development, pipeline builds, digital automation, functional performance testing and application support, removing obstacles
- Acting as a local representation to liaise with MMG IT to handle IT requests, incidents, changes, upgrades, transformation projects, server patching, security upgrade, including local support for hardware and accessories
- Collaborate with MMG IT, delivery teams, and external teams to ensure application and service solutions are successful
- Understanding and translating business problems faced by the business services delivery team into a value case & comprehensive set of solutions spanning process, technology, data, governance & user experience supported by defined, baseline value realization key performance indicators.
To be successful for this role, you shall have:
- Critical and analytical, systematic thinker
- Application development & programming
- User interface design (UI/UX) – Sketch / Adobe XD
- Basic IT hardware and Network management
- Continuous improvement methodologies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a service-oriented or technology industry
- Experienced in project management or application development
- Previous experience in IT and/or ITIL knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in project/contractor engagement
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Intermediate to advanced written and spoken English
- Language proficiency in Chinese is desirable
