As one of the few ambulance services available in Vientiane Capital, Vientiane Rescue are responsible for the transport of COVID-19 patients from the test site to the hospital where they will receive care. Currently this means 20-50 extra transportations per day for the organization, run entirely by volunteers and heavily dependent on private donations.
ECCIL EuroCham Laos is partnering with PetroTrade to collect funds to support Vientiane Rescue facilitate this important part of the Covid-19 Care and Prevention Work.
100% of collected funds will be spent on petrol cards which will be donated directly to Vientiane Rescue. No direct cash transfers.
First card of a value of 2,000,000 LAK has already been donated by PetroTrade.
In addition, PetroTrade will make a free 500,000 LAK top up, to this card every month for the next 6 months.
