Yesterday was the 2018 Annual Meeting and marks the 30th year anniversary of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) with the honorable attendance of H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR. The event was participated by concerned government officials including the Minister of the Ministry of Industry of Commerce, H.E. Mme Khemmani Pholsena, representatives of foreign chambers of commerce and industry, international organizations, foreign and local businesses and provincial chambers of commerce.
The meeting consisted of the report on activities of LNCCI from 2017-2018 by its president, Mr. Oudet Souvannavong, followed by the report on financial activity by its executive vice president, Mr. Davone Phachanthavong, as well as their activity plan for 2019-2020 by Mr. Thanongsin Kanlagna, their executive vice president.
The European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR was privileged to attend the distinguished occasion and would like to convey our greatest gratitude for the recognition of our contribution by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the hand over of their Certificate of Appreciation Award for Outstanding Work Implementations of 2018 by their Minister, H.E. Mme Khemmani Pholsena. (See picture above.)
On this day in addition, we had the pleasure to hand H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith our very first copy of the White Book 2019- Ease of Doing Business Index in Lao PDR during the event, in which we are completely overwhelmed by his acceptance of our work.
