From 28 February to 2 March 2018, an Austrian Delegation headed by H.E. Dr. Eva Hager, Austrian Ambassador to the Lao PDR, with 10 Austrian companies (Andritz Hydro, Global Hydro, Besurence, EVG, Fritz Egger, Pewag, Steyr Mannlicher, Primetals Technologies, Bauer and Trumer Schutzbauten) visited Lao PDR for a business mission.
The Delegation met with representatives of the several ministries of the Lao PDR, particularly Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment. They also participated in a business matching event where interested Lao companies came to meet and exchange ideas and experiences with the Delegation. The Delegation visited Lao companies and in the evening of 1 March 2018 a networking reception was organised, which was sponsored by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA. The event took place at Ansara Hotel. Approximately 50 members from ECCIL joined the event and had an opportunity to meet with the delegates of the participating 10 Austrian companies.
