ECCIL presented on March 7th about business and investment opportunities in Laos in a conference in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
The event was organised by EuroCham Indonesia and the EU-Indonesian Business Network (EIBN) and supported by the EU. It focused on the economic situation in the so-called CLMV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam) and the opportunities that region, which basically consists of four of the fastest growing economies in the world, holds for foreign investors.
About 50 managers from different companies attended the conference. The presentation of ECCIL, which was represented by its Executive Director, Dr. Ramon Bruesseler, was part of the chamber’s wider initiative to raise awareness about the Lao PDR and to attract businesses from abroad.
