The EU supports several entities and projects that promote the activities of European SMEs in the ASEAN under their SEBSEAM programme which stands for “Support to European Business in South East Asia Markets”. One of the beneficiaries is ECCIL, others are EuroCham Cambodia, Viet Nam Business Network etc.
To exchange experiences and to coordinate their activities, particularly their “outreach missions” to European or Asian countries representatives from these SEBSEAM supported entities met on March 31st in EuroCham Myanmar’s office in Yangon for a one-day conference. Besides Myanmar and Laos the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia participated, Viet Nam was present via skype.
