Economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak: Results of the survey

In March, Lao PDR reported the first confirmed cases and the Government of Lao PDR (GoL) has set up a serie of measures to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak on the Lao Economy.

However, in July, ECCIL EuroCham Laos conducted a follow-up survey to assess the economic impact on European businesses in Lao PDR and to collect the opinion on GoL’s response to the crisis and recommendation for further actions.

This study surveyed 35 representatives of businesses active in Lao PDR to assess their level of the expected economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak.  Thank you for taking time answering the questionnaire.
