On the 11th of September, the Ministry of Finance has organised a discussion meeting at the Tax Department, on a Draft Instruction on the Implementation of Income Tax Law 2019. During this meeting, the Tax Department has requested comments from Companies operating in Lao PDR for consideration in drafting the new Instruction for the Implementation of Income Tax Law.
Referring to this public consultation, ECCIL EuroCham Laos, in order to participate to this public dialogue and to voice opinion of its members, has first disseminated an online survey “Understanding your Tax”, to identify key issues relating to Taxes.
The data compiled from the survey have been then discussed and analysed by our CFO & Finance Working Group, and drafted into the White Paper, consisting in five recommendations.
