The European Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Lao PDR (ECCIL) was invited by the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) in Bangkok to present Laos as an emerging market and to provide insights on industry-specific topics.
Dr. Ramon Bruesseler, ECCIL’s Executive Director, informed more than 60 corporate representatives about economic development in Laos and the legal framework of the country. Key industries and business trends in Laos were presented and practical experiences from ECCIL’s day-to-day business were shared with the audience. Individual business appointments with Dr. Ramon Bruesseler were also part of the event and highly appreciated by the participants. Contributions by the Lao National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LNCCI), a representative of the German Development initiative and the regional DEG Representative Office completed the event.
