On the 25th July 2018, ECCIL organised a training session by Tony Campbell on how to write better business documents. Mr. Campbell is an expert in providing training to businesses, government departments and other organisations worldwide.
Throughout the training, participants were given a range of information and tips on how to produce a good business paper. They were taught that in order to improve their writing skills, they would need to keep text structured and concise by planning it before writing. Furthermore, a good business paper has to stay within a certain context; has a purpose; may rely on data/facts and uses the appropriate tone (either formal or more casual) depending on the audience. The final step is to make sure there are no mistakes, as to avoid the paper appearing both unprofessional and not credible.
The ECCIL is confident in the benefits of the training for its participants and would like to thank them for taking part with such enthusiasm. We would also like to give a special thank you to Mr Campbell.
Stay tuned for further trainings on our ECCIL calendar!
