Trade & Logistics Group
Advocacy
The EuroCham Laos Trade & Logistics Advocacy Working Group was set up to represent the business interests of our members involved in logistics and import-export operations at Lao borders.
After receiving several reports from our members of operational inefficiencies affecting our members in the industry, EuroCham Laos took upon the mission to represent these voices. The objective is to execute viable resolution by a collective study and identification of the issue at hand and the best course of action, via liaising with relevant private and public counterparties.
The Trade and Logistics Advocacy Working Group is an opportunity for members to voice the issues and discuss potential solutions to improve together the business environment. Members, who may be vertical partners or horizontal competitors outside the group, will work together to promote best practices for the benefit of existing stakeholders and new ones to come with the improvement generated by this work.
Our end goal is to improve the business environment and work towards the vision of Laos as strategic regional logistic hub, for the benefit of the private sector and by effect Lao population at large.
