Access to international market and incentivising Lao traders to export green, sustainable, biotrade agricultural products.

ECCIL EuroCham is working towards facilitating international economic integration, increasing awareness for exports, and strengthening support for trade and investment promotion in targeted sectors, for lao traders. Currently, Lao’s exports to the EU account for around 5% of total exports, but these exports have potential to grow further. To establish a market presence in the EU market, Lao exporters are required to meet certain requirements regarding the quality of the products, key standards and market preferences, among others.

This webinar, co-organized with the Asian Green Business Accelerator sets out to increase awareness of market opportunities, work through the requirements to be met to effectively export and capacitate Lao traders to get ready to export agro-biodiverse products to Europe. Our panellists will raise the challenges for Lao-based companies to export to EU and will provide insights on EU buyers interests on sourcing from Lao PDR and their requirements.

Who should attend?

Any entrepreneur/business, local private sector, organisation, or projects who wants to learn more about the opportunities available for Lao PDR’s traders to export agro-biodiverse products to Europe.
