On June 30th, 2011, ECCIL wrote a letter to the Minister of Justice about the “Proposed New Personal Income Tax Rates for Foreign Nationals”.
The main argument of ECCIL is as follows:
“One of the most important factors for achieving this foreign investment has been through the offering of tax incentives to international companies. We, along with our members, are concerned that the interpretation of the Presidential Decree removes the 10% personal income tax rate for foreign nationals.”
