Representatives of the EU Delegation and major European Development Organisations met for their Joint Programming Retreat in Luang Prabang on May 14 – 16.
On the second day of the meeting ECCIL gave presentations about the business enabling environment and the situation of the private sector in the Lao PDR and also used the opportunity to meet with several of its members in order to prepare the setting up of a support desk for Luang Prabang based members of ECCIL..
The chamber was represented by its Executive Director, Dr. Ramon Bruesseler, and by its Senior Advisor, Dr. Dan Fitzpatrick.
