On 23 January 2023, Thiane Khamvongsa – Executive director of ECCIL EuroCham Laos attended the Meeting with Prime Minister of Lao PDR and Lao Business Leader Awards year 2022, organized by the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) at the National Convention Centre to present awards to the most successful businesses in different industries in Lao PDR.
H.E. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone – Prime Minister has presided together with members of LNCCI, representatives of ministries and businesses in Lao PDR. The awards are intended to recognize the accomplishments and innovations of business leaders who guided their organizations through various crises. They also strive to recognize businesses with the ability to aid in the government’s financial, material, and other needs as well as significantly advance Laos’ social and economic growth.
This year, the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR, along with other foreign Chambers, received a certificate of appreciation 2022 for its exceptional contribution to strengthening the businesses and supporting its members in doing business in Lao PDR.
