On 1st November 2017, ANZ Bank hosted a joint chambers networking event, where members from all four chambers of commerce (more than 170 members) attended the event. The four chambers were the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Lao PDR, the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR, the American-Lao Business Association and the British Business Group in Laos. Participants had a great time meeting and connecting with business professionals from different industries along with great food and drinks.
In the event, ANZ Bank also introduced their Chief Executive Officer for Laos, Rufus Pinto. Rufus brings with him more than 17 years of banking experience across India, Australia, and the Pacific.
